Itinerary

Day One - February 14th, 2027

Arrive in Mexico City
Private transfers from the airport to our 4* boutique accommodations Hotel Histórico Central. After an early evening orientation, we’ll have a group Welcome Dinner at a beautiful local restaurant, Balcón del Zócalo, overlooking the main square. (Meals D)              

Day Two - February 15th, 2027

Cooking Class & Frida Kahlo
We’ll visit Xochimilco, where we’ll harvest ingredients directly from a chinampa and cook with what we gather. We’ll learn about these agricultural islands built by the Mexicas to grow food in balance with the surrounding lake system, and how this reciprocal relationship sustained both the land and the people for centuries. Then, we’ll step into the world of Frida Kahlo with a private guided visit to La Casa Azul, followed by free time to explore Coyoacán, one of the city’s most historic and atmospheric neighborhoods. Day Three - February 16th, 2027

Mezcal Tasting
In the late morning, we’ll set out for a guided walk through La Condesa, one of Mexico City’s most beloved neighborhoods. Known for its wide, tree-lined avenues, elegant Art Deco architecture, and lush parks, Condesa offers a perfect blend of local life and creative energy. We’ll then gather for lunch at Azul Condesa, a celebrated restaurant dedicated to showcasing the depth and diversity of Mexican cuisine. In the afternoon, we continue with a private mezcal tasting led by renowned expert Omar Trejo, who will guide us through Mexico’s world of agave spirits. From mezcal to lesser-known regional distillates, we’ll taste a curated selection of small-batch labels—including wild agaves—while learning about their origins, production methods, and cultural significance. As evening falls, we dive into one of Mexico City’s most iconic food experiences: a taco tour. It’s a delicious, immersive journey into the heart of the capital’s street food culture, and the perfect way to end the day—full, inspired, and deeply connected to Mexico’s culinary soul. Day Four - February 17th, 2027

Chile Class & Walking Tour
The next day, we step into contemporary Mexico in Mercado de Jamaica. A third generation chile vendor will guide us through the history of chiles and their role in Mexican identity. Together, we’ll prepare our own salsas inside a hidden speakeasy built within his family’s dried chile warehouse, an intimate space that brings tradition into the present. Later, we’ll head to Centro Histórico for a walking tour exploring the visible layers of the city, where the remains of Tenochtitlán coexist with Spanish colonial infrastructure built directly on top of the ancient capital. In the evening, we’ll have dinner at Plaza Garibaldi, home to mariachi musicians. Here, we’ll eat, sing, and share tequila, closing the day surrounded by one of Mexico City’s most iconic musical traditions. (Meals B, L, D)              

Day Five - February 18th, 2027

Chocolate Making & Farewell Dinner
On our final day, we  head to Colonia Juárez, one of Mexico City’s most dynamic and fast-evolving neighborhoods. Here, we’ll visit La Rifa Chocolatería for a hands-on experience dedicated to one of Mexico’s most iconic ingredients: cacao. We’ll dive into the flavors, stories, and techniques behind traditional Mexican chocolate, tasting drinks, beans, and bars made from Mexican-grown cacao. Guests will also make their own traditional chocolate tablet to take home, a meaningful and delicious souvenir rooted in ancestral knowledge. Afterward, there will be free time to explore Juárez at your own pace. In the evening, we’ll come together one last time for a farewell dinner at Botánico, an oasis filled with towering cacti and a tranquil fish pond. Its refined yet soulful cuisine, recognized by the Michelin Guide, provides the perfect setting to reflect, celebrate, and say goodbye. (Meals B, L, D)              

Day Six - February 19th, 2027

Departures
