Lisbon, Portugal Itinerary Highlights
  • Welcome Dinner and introduction to Portuguese wines in a wine store for tastings in their cellar.
  • Food, history, walking, and tasting tour of the Chiado area, Rossio, downtown’s main streets, and the Tejo riverfront area. We’ll also visit the Barrio Alto neighborhood. 
  • Market Tour and Cooking Class with local chef. We will visit the beautiful Mercado da Ribeira with a local chef to buy fresh ingredients for our meal.
  • Dinner with wine pairings in a historic building, Chafariz da Mãe-de-Água (literally, spring of the well-head). It forms part of Lisbon’s historical Aqueduct system commissioned by King João V, in 1731 with a complex series of underground galleries, arches and skylights scattered throughout the city. 
  • Bread workshop and lunch with a family in their working wind mill in the countryside outside of Lisbon. 
  •  Campo de Ourique Food & Cultural Walk, a 19th century neighborhood.
  • Visit to the magical Pena Palace in Sintra, followed by a tasting of the famous pastry (Travesseiros) of Sintra, plus lunch and wine tasting.
  • Cooking class in the home of a Portuguese family with a view of the Atlantic.
